Welcome to Lakewood Bible Fellowship!
I am so glad that you have chosen to visit us online today. My hope is that you will see some of the ways that God is using the people of Lakewood to lead people to be fully devoted followers of Jesus. Please take a moment and read through the information and see all of the amazing opportunities for you and your family to connect to Lakewood. As you learn about our church, my prayer is that you will be encouraged and inspired to follow Jesus with us. I’d love for you to join us this weekend and learn more about what God is doing!

What kind of church is Lakewood?
Lakewood Bible Fellowship, a non-denominational church in the Wesleyan tradition, is an exciting body of believers committed to leading people to be fully devoted followers of Jesus. As such, we do our best to reach people from all walks of life and help them grow in their relationship with Christ. For a list of our core values, click here.
What are services like?
Our Sunday morning worship service (10:30 a.m.) is very friendly, energetic, and geared for today’s families. Our worship service is about 75 minutes long and includes powerful praise and relevant, Biblical teaching. The atmosphere is casual, so come as you are! In addition to Sunday morning worship, a variety of Life Groups meet in various homes throughout the week!
What about childcare? Do you have something for teens?
The kids of Lakewood are given utmost care and nurturing. Infants and toddlers are cared for during our Sunday morning service by trained volunteers in our nursery. Children ages 5-12 are invited to participate in our Lakewood Kids ministry on Sunday mornings. This incredible ministry, located on the second floor of the main building, gives children an opportunity to learn about Jesus in a clean, safe environment. LBF’s student ministry, THRIVE, is designed for teens in grades 7-12. This exciting group meets every Thursday evening at the church at 5:30 p.m.
What does it mean to “join” Lakewood?
At Lakewood, you do not have to be a formal member in order to participate in many areas of ministry. However, there are some ministry and Leadership positions that do require formal membership. Membership at Lakewood is a significant commitment, and we want you and your family to be fully informed for such a decision. We believe that formal membership is a powerful way for you to solidify your connection to the Body of Christ and we welcome all of those who sincerely wish to join. Joining Lakewood requires several steps. The first step is a Membership class that is designed to give you more information regarding our church and the membership process. This class, taught by Pastor Jonathan, is offered periodically throughout the year. If you are interested in pursuing this as your Next Step, please contact the church office at email@example.com.
How do I dress?
Lakewood does not have a specific dress code. Some dress in business casual while others dress in jeans and open collars. At Lakewood, what you wear is not what is most important. Instead, we emphasize ministry and missions by helping people get connected to God and to one another through Bible study, worship, prayer, fellowship, and activities. Our greatest goal is for you to follow Jesus!
Where to park and where to enter the building…
Please enter the campus from Sale Rd. and feel free to park anywhere! The main entrance to the Worship Center is located through the glass doors under the west portico.
